• Built an order shipment tracking library using the FedEx package tracking API. This code is currently being used by both internal applications and customers on the web and mobile to provide shipping status information of medication orders.• Developed a console application that sends weekly reminder e-mails to customers.• Designed, developed, and deployed a secure login and password system for a customer facing ASP.NET web site using industry accepted best practices and in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH federal healthcare security mandates.• Volunteered to act as lead architect for a project developing a middleware solution to support excelleRx’s new billing model, overseeing the work of a team of offsite contract developers.• Refactored a legacy application used for converting data to HL7 messages using dependency injection and SOLID principles.• Completed several bug fixes for an ASP.NET site used by approximately 5k-6k users per day.

• Designed, coded, tested and deployed a .NET Windows Forms application written in C# 4.0 to run the world's first interactive robotic self-service food kiosks.• Designed and implemented a MySQL database to store data for each run of the kiosk, using the InnoDB storage engine and B+ tree indices.• Interacted with the database from the Windows Forms application by utilizing Entity Framework classes, which were compiled into a separate dll.• Wrote unit tests to test code and used nUnit to automate unit testing.• Implemented revision control using Mercurial and BitBucket.org.• Developed C# classes to interact with an industrial robot from Yaskawa/Motoman and their API called MotoCom32 to pass data back and forth over TCP.• Set goals and assigned tasks for 2 part-time developers on the team.

• Developed custom reports using PL/SQL in Oracle 10g and 11g.• Administered a web front end tool that was developed by a third party and allowed non-technical internal users access to customized SQL reports and data updating/loading scripts developed by myself or others on my team.• Served in the role of production data gatekeeper, was responsible for approving SQL scripts written by others on my team before allowing them to be applied to the production database, where all the client data resided.• Updated customer configurations and corrected enrollment data using SQL in an OLTP backend.

• Developed a custom C# .NET Windows Forms application to aggregate test result data. The application used asynchronous IO, multiple threads, delegates and callback functions.• Wrote another Windows Forms application in C# that translated a cryptic code used to identify the production date of parts into a human readable calendar date.• Designed and developed other software tools using VBA in Excel for automating data collection and formatting processes which were previously done manually.• Developed a VBA application that used the COM interface of the OpCon library to access stations on the production line and pull configuration data from them.• Identified and corrected several root causes of major quality defects before products were shipped to external customers with minimal direct supervision.

• Oversaw a CNC machining cell consisting of 5 machine tools and 3 operators.• Responsible for quality, delivery and safety of all operations in the cell.• Trained operators on tool changes, machine operation, coolant inspection, housekeeping, and maintenance.
