Lead Automation Engineer
CurrentAs an employee of Mastercard, I am responsible for,1) Attending Feature grooming, sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint demos, Sprint Retros, Identity and Understand dependencies, Risk assessments, Prioritization, and other agile ceremonies.2) Analyze detailed business requirements with respect to different type of merchant and gateway interactions – Direct API, Hosted Checkout, Hosted Session3) Based upon business requirements, setting up merchants in QA environments with different type of merchant profiles – Like Currency supported, Acquirers, Card Types (American Express, MasterCard, Visa etc.), Cardholder verification supported and Integration Type – Like Hosted Checkouts, Hosted Session, Direct Payment, Batch and different type of services like tokenization, device payments and checkouts.4) Write API and UI Automation test cases for different type of Payment API Operations like Authorize, Pay, Capture, refund, Retrieve Order, Retrieve Transactions, Create sessions. Incorporated all those test cases into Spring boot based in house framework. Implement validation points using simulators for third party integrations.5) Creating branch out of target release branch and master branch using Git version control, implementing new test cases to those branches and merge changes to target release / master.6) Running newly designed test cases in relevant QA environment, analyzing results and updating ALM tickets with test results., Creating Jenkin Jobs for new test cases in target release and master branch and scheduling those are regression runs.7) Server-side logs analysis using Splunk, Root Cause Analysis of issues, troubleshooting different issues across testing lifecycle. Review activities, resolving blockers, 8) Defect tracking, conducting defect Triage Meeting and various report generation, go live. To monitor detailed testing progress and results in each test cycle and evaluate the quality of the system at enterprise level. Defect reporting and tracking.
