I specialize in formative research that maps the area under investigation, and provides both individual and structural level understandings of the levers for possible change. I have experience with research in social norms and behaviour in areas ranging from women's reproductive health and public policy (looking at the gaps which prove obstacles in the search for better health practices), through the use of media in the contexts of changing modes of learning for children, to folktale and other narrative research that looks at the modes and forms that people use to express the meanings they feel underlie their own experiences and contexts.
