I am only 22 years old, and my main objective till today has been to learn about different cultures, major religions, special traditions, and unique perspectives which are ultimately going to help me in becoming a superb divorce lawyer after graduation. I feel that you are going to be more certain of being an adult as you grow older and wiser because we are all supposed to make mistakes but if we don’t learn from those same mistakes then we aren’t exactly growing mentally or emotionally. This is where I want to grow as a person because it will enable me to not just have a great work ethic but also acquire innovative talents.I was born in India, but I have lived a majority of my life in the United States. My mother tongue was Hindi meaning I struggled to learn English in all shapes and forms which included speaking, writing, and reading. But I chose not to give up and I remained profoundly optimistic because only after failure will you taste success or some type of excellence which I finally did for example in middle school when I got accepted into the gifted program. Then there is the instance when I joined the honors society in high school for initially maintaining and eventually graduating with a 3.8 grade point average. I am currently attending Wingate University where I am senior in college who is hoping to graduate with a 3.6 grade point average because I will need that as well as a score of 160 or 170 on my LSATs in order to apply to law school and only after getting accepted will I receive my presidential scholarship. All credit goes to my lovely mother who nurtured me and my willingness to learn smarter only by working harder.The only type of job experience I currently possess in my arsenal is working as a receptionist at Red Roof Inn & Suites at Galloway, New Jersey and Fair Bridge Inn & Suites at Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. I am glad to have been given a golden opportunity like this because I didn't just learn valuable things like patience, diligence, and customer service but l also made a huge difference according to profit margins during the summer and winter months.In conclusion, I'm not an adult just yet because there are still many things I need to experience and learn about like, for example, going to law school in order to specialize in immigration law along with concentrating on family law in order to become an honest and hardworking divorce lawyer. I'm an emerging adult because I get to experience college life on campus. I can’t decide my birth or my death, but what I can decide is how I am going to live out the rest of my life!
