● Plans the most efficient routes for installing coax infrastructure to serve homes and businesses● Perform quality expert installations/troubleshooting of residential and commercial products such as internet, telephony, and video services in accordance with Comcast procedures and practices● Test internet bandwidth/speed to ensure proficient connectivity● Manages, develops, communicates, and records technical issues for both internal and external customers to ensure the most effective solution, including escalation.● Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot connectivity between Comcast products (internet, telephony)● Troubleshoot desktops/laptops computers, network switches, access points, and cradle points● Repair or replace faulty equipment such as defective and damaged telephones, modems, wires, switching system components, and associated equipment● Responsible for meeting goals as it pertains to the role as a Communication Technician that consists of time management, productivity, and first-time resolutions● Responsible for inventory of all assigned company equipment and products.● Cooperate with teams and management to design strategies in satisfying daily metrics● Test circuits and components of malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate sources of malfunctions, using test meters, circuit diagrams, polarity probes, and other hand tools
