Hello! My name is Devante' Williams and I’m someone who’s grown up their entire life with all forms of entertainment (film, TV, video games, etc.) and have gained so many valuable memories and friendships as a result. Over time, I began to wonder what it would be like to work in the entertainment industry and get the chance to spread that same joy that I experienced over the years to the youth of future generations. Eventually, I was given my first offer to work for a video game company, which left me feeling really excited, but extremely nervous at the same time. However, just within the first month of working there and connecting with all of the amazing people that I got to work alongside… I immediately knew that this industry was where I belonged!With that realization, I started researching about what other opportunities were in my area. Within just a few months, I was gaining experience working in the film industry and even attended a 3D Animation school in order to develop skills that would give me further opportunities towards a more creative career path!So you may ask… why am I telling you all of this? Well… outside of the fact that this industry has brought me so much happiness over the years, I’ve also realized how impactful it can be when it comes to showing people that they’re capable of much more than they realize. I mean… sure it’s a great way to pass the time, but entertainment has also given me so many life lessons that I truly believe I never would have gotten through any other medium, and that’s exactly what I aim to do as I gain more experience through this industry.With that said, I’m looking forward to meeting and working alongside more creative people that will help me in reaching that dream.
