Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities-1. Improving Productivity:• Identify the potential debottleneck process and OFI’s• Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations• Propose schemes to improve productivity and reduction of cost• For new machinery - Create SOP’s, compliance maintenance, schedule maintenance2. Provide Technical Support:• Preparing the proposals for approval which includes capital investment required and feasibility studies• Providing technical inputs related to process engineering calculations• Carry out the Basic and Detailed Engineering for the entire major and minor modifications for Process Improvement, viz. Capacity Increase, Troubleshooting, Safety and Pollution Control, etc.3. Acquiring and analyzing big data:• Collect information regarding the latest trend..• Consult and collaborate with various institutes, experts, vendors etc.• Suggest best practices regarding automation to improve the productivity4. Technical Evaluations:• Detail Engineering: Layout, piping plan, project scheduling and monitoring for timely completion and cost control• Vendor identification, obtaining quotations & techno-economic evaluation, coordination during Erection and Commissioning5. Benchmarking:• Assist in technological benchmarking to facilitate informed decision making• Prepare comparison, draw conclusions, ensuring activities in Action Plan• Coordinate various audit study reports for plant performance6. ISO, IMS, Safety and Sustainability:• Developing systems for upgrading plant operations to meet WCM, ISO and safety requirements• Maintain operational parameters to meet all Environmental Standards° Reduce breakdowns by thermography, NDT SERVICES.
