Lead Software Designer for the TEKTELIC LoRaWAN sensors. Collaborated with a mixed team of hardware and system engineers to design low-energy sensor nodes for a variety of markets, including Building Automation, Industrial Sensing and Asset Tracking

Investigated the wireless propagation characteristics of near-ground wireless networks, in forested environments. This included the development of a software defined radio for use as a channel sounder.

I was responsible for a variety of tasks through the Image Processing department including QA/Verification testing of new products, building hardware prototypes for development projects, and maintaining and modifying the Image processing lab to assist team members.

My move to Matrix Solutions allowed me to play a more integral role as part of their small ITS team. I continued to provide a variety of Help Desk related tasks, supporting staff both in office and out in the field. Beyond this, I was also able to take on some basic sysadmin tasks and was eventually responsible for implementing and configuring a network.
