Senior Strategic Planning Consultant
Current- Lead projects to develop strategic plans for departments and special initiatives, responsible for facilitating stakeholder engagement, leading research and analysis efforts to assess environmental factors and strategy effectiveness, developing business goals and metrics, and creating plans to align resources and actions to strategic priorities Lead Planning Efforts: Workforce Development, Communications, Anti-Displacement, and Community & Economic Development- Consult with departments for regular performance management, including tracking and analyzing metrics, assessing impacts of environmental and performance factors, identifying opportunities and actions for improvement, and adjusting strategic direction to accommodate evolving needs- Consult with leaders on an ad hoc basis to address complex governance, resource alignment, and planning issues, including environmental research and analysis, facilitating sensemaking among stakeholders, developing and presenting communications to align audiences to strategic priorities, and developing high-level implementation plans- Develop repeatable processes and resources to support strategic planning efforts, including tools for assessing and understanding stakeholder needs, developing strategic plan elements, aligning to organizational priorities, and performance management- Support departmental efforts to assess, standardize, and improve strategic planning and performance management efforts throughout the county to ensure consistent and effective processes and products
