Purchasing at Simple was vastly different from the industry norm. My role centered around onboarding and managing the various SaaS partners that allowed our product to scale with the company’s growth. I was initially hired to build the Purchasing process, which is now in place and running smoothly. A typical day involved contract negotiation, cost-benefit analysis, and syncing with our business development lead on future opportunities. In addition to my Purchasing role, I owned our Business Partnership framework, ensuring strong communication and teamwork from Finance across the business.
