Volunteer “lasagna chef” in my community through non-profit Lasagna Love. Community members may request a donated meal of lasagna if they are unwell, experiencing hardship, etc., and will be matched with a local volunteer to provide them that meal free of charge. As a volunteer, I am responsible for all costs associated with the donated meal I make, and transportation to the recipient. I enjoy cooking, and one of my favorite ways to show someone I care is to feed them. This provides me with an opportunity to give back in my area when acute need arises, and a project to work on that blesses others.
