Within a year I was able to “overhaul” the WCPS technology organizational chart to create an IT team of 4 Sr. Technicians, Sr. a Network Engineer and 11 Jr. Technicians. WCPS technology started with Windows NT/7 desktop/laptop platform with a multitude of windows software. Within 3 months the entire team, though weekly communication, and contiguous collaboration, were able to provisioned/inventory and deployed 10,000 devices, across 14 schools plus the Board of Education. The IT team (Jr & Sr Technicians) are able to manage and troubleshooting our WAPs, MDM, Apple hardware & software, Apple TVs and network issues which has optimized organizations and enhanced our educational experience. I collaborate with business vendors to ensure we applied the CARES and E-rate budgeted funding appropriately to upgrade the network infrastructure (switches, WAPs, Firewalls, data server, cat5 => cat6, APCs, bandwidth) to be able to accommodate thousands of additional Wi-Fi devices. In additional multiple processes, procedure and forms had to be created or enhanced for the department.
