About Devon Wilson
I am a GIS professional with a great deal of experience as a GIS Consultant and in Project Management. My objective is to work as a GIS Manager, managing a team of GIS Specialists and implementing new projects and applications to improve business processes. This may involve implementing basic GIS Infrastructure and applications, or improving existing GIS and spatial systems. The key to any GIS, of course, is the quality of the data itself. Hence, a first step is to ensure spatial data quality, metadata, standards, etc. are developed and adhered to. Improving the quality of spatial information (through audits, data collection, etc.) and ensuring appropriate QA/QC procedures are followed is essential for any business. I am particularly interested on using technology to improve data quality and ensure a single point of truth.
Listed skills include Project Management, Change Management, Strategic Planning, Project Planning, and 12 others.
