Over 20 years of experience in advising the public sector in areas ranging from infrastructure development and public-private partnerships (PPP) to governance and procurement reforms. Devyani has led several PPP policy advisory mandates including review and updated of PPP frameworks, guidelines and manuals, development of Fiscal Commitments and Contingent Liability (FCCL) frameworks and fiscal planning tools, and preparation of project development funds. She has also managed several transaction advisory mandates for large infrastructure projects including oil pipelines, roads and expressways, logistics facilities, education and health sectors. Devyani has also developed procurement legislations and driven fiduciary assurance and procurement reviews. She has worked on mandates with clients ranging from governments, municipalities and International Funding Institutions (IFIs) such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank and DFID.Devyani’s work has experience spans Africa – Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe – and Asia – India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan.
