As a Youth Counselor, it was my job to provide counseling and treatment to individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds, build rapport with clients, diagnose and create treatment plans, and asses client progress within the program. Maintaining records and client confidentiality was essential to completing this job successfully.

• Oversees the implementation of daily operations in sports programming and facilities, including staff, participants, space, and equipment. • Supervises gym staff and program staff including scheduling based on program and activity need. • Performs all gym staff duties and models a proactive approach to high quality programs as well as safety and risk management. • Assists in hiring, training, orienting, scheduling, and appraising sports and courts staff. • Support on call procedures and staff schedules • Plans and supports program curriculum, evaluation and communication across a wide portfolio of sports including basketball, soccer, sports of all sorts, volleyball, tumbling, dance and karate. • Builds relationships and strategies to support program growth and retention. • Inventories and recognizes when supplies or equipment needs arise and communicates needs to supervisor. • Responds to customer and staff inquiries and directs concerns to appropriate authorities, if needed.

• Responsible for the planning of sports programs and supervision of different age groups in accordance with the goals and policies of the YMCA • Responsible for creating and implementing curriculums, as well as supervise staff • Assisted in marketing strategies in order to retain the variety of youth groups spanning from ages 18 months to 8th grade • Led classes spanning from 4-25 individuals that implemented comprehensive sports and enrichment

• Offered prospective clients an opportunity to become club members at the LA Fitness Centers. • Demonstrated versatile exercises that would help them reach their physical fitness goals. • Connected with small businesses in the area to offer them corporate sales opportunities. • Trained and assisted sales counselors in closing deals, generating leads, and maximizing sales and EFT for the day to meet our clubs water line. • Ensure that all employees were holding standards of their own as well as the clubs.
