My main responsibility was to lead, motivate and manage teams of Census Officers tasked with encouraging householders in my assigned areas to complete their Census 2021 online questionnaire. I onboarded and inducted Field Officers, oversaw training, provided logistical support, encouragement and motivation and undertook performance observations both in the field and through data analysis. I held weekly 121 and team meetings to update officers on new directives from Census HQ as the operation progressed. I worked with a wider group of team leaders and reported to an area manager. My teams achieved a 95% target compliance rate ahead of schedule.
