I'm a senior systems analyst with over 20 years of experience, encompassing all aspects of software development. I've implemented systems that support data entry, data quality control, research cohort tracking, management reporting, and protocol adherence. My broad technical background includes algorithmic and database programming, the development of complex web-based data management systems, database administration, and server administration. For the past few years, I've been the lead analyst for several multi-tiered, web-based data collection systems used in large, government-sponsored research projects.

As the technical lead of a web-based systems development team, I designed, developed, tested, and implemented applications and relational database systems to manage financial data for a large non-profit. The team used WebInterchange (WebIC) for development and SQL Server 6.5 for data storage and data access layer functionality via stored procedures, views and triggers. I provided technical support, analyzed and resolved problems with existing data, and regularly met with clients to discuss current and future systems development.

With progressively increasing autonomy and responsibility, I designed, developed, and implemented computer applications and database systems for research projects. I also contributed to the analysis and design phases of systems development, created SAS programs for statisticians and clients to use in data analysis, and provided ongoing user support and software maintenance.
