As a solutions consultant (pre sales) I worked closely with Account Executives and prospects as a trusted technical advisor through the Sales Life Cycle. I had to understand the business challenges that prospect customers are facing, and design complex technical solutions to solve them with TIBCO technologies. As part of my core activities, I had to design solutions architectures, prepare and develop Proof of Concepts (POC), technical recommendations and technical presentations. Major accomplishments: • Designed the technical solution proposal in the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) account sales cycle. Our team closed a CFE deal of $2M USD, the largest software license deal of TIBCO in Latin America during 2011 and 2012 fiscal years. • Developed the Proof of Concept (demo) and worked as a trusted technical adviser closing a +$500K USD deal with Banco Azteca/Elektra in a 3 month sales cycle. Before this sales cycle, other sales teams unsuccessfully tried to close this deal for more than three years.• Analyzed data of the transactions using our solution at ETB in Colombia, presenting the issues related and the underlying reasons of them. Convinced the CIO and IT directors of ETB in Colombia about the value of TIBCO’s technology—when ETB was planning to remove the software after several issues. Our team closed a renewal contract of +$500K USD
