Innovating the Enterprise Architecture practice at Sensis.Starting with a capability and roadmap led approach (Business Architecture) to solving enterprise planning challenges at pre implementation phase. The key objective of the team is to reduce the enterprise program complexity through delivery of the right information to stakeholders at the right time using Enterprise and Business Architecture Techniques. This involves significant stakeholder management, great communications and often earning the 'right to play' in a very complex, changing and demanding environment. Proof of value in the first conversation is essential.Enterprise Security is on the agenda where a business value based approach is being innovated rather than the typical risk/compliance/governance approach. The goal is to remove the 'tech' complexity from the conversations with the business and get Security into the enabler quadrant.

The role covered all design and governance aspects for the online Sensis advertising platforms, from strategy to projects including portfolio complexity and practice development. From a strategic perspective the role was key to Sensis establishing cloud delivery practices for BaaS, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS in both online and core (ERP) systems, as well as working with online market leaders assist in the establishment of partnerships and legal agreements. InfoMedix was established in early 2000 out of a consulting solution for the Mercy Group of hospitals in 1999. The engagement with Mercy was to design and build a prototype web system to retrieve scanned patient data stored in TIFF Images. Cameron developed the solution into a product opportunity, negotiating with the hospital to commercialise the work and subsequently set up the joint venture company InfoMedix between himself and Object Consulting Pty Ltd. Under Cameron's delivery InfoMedix grew to a staff of 22 and was anticipated to double its’ revenue in the next financial year. The main InfoMedix product was a large scale application that provided a single secure web based view of a patient’s medical record by drawing all electronic information available together and combining it with scanned paper records. The system was designed to be highly scaleable (100’s-1000’s of millions of elements per node), robust and have a rich set of interfaces for collecting and interpreting information from a wide range of systems. The system was targeted at hospital networks that had an issue with sharing/transporting and storing medical records.Cameron's role was product owner, tech team lead but inevitably included covering all roles as and when the need arose as is the case with any small organically grown business.
