I took an unorthodox route after college but made the most of my opportunities and learned a great deal throughout the process. Throughout that period, I continued to build my portfolio through my own passion projects and staying informed on the software development landscape.I’m a first generation college graduate from an underrepresented and marginalized community where nothing came easy. My passion for technology grew at a young age but as I matured in the field I knew there was a need for more diversity. After taking my first course in object oriented programming I realized just how powerful and impactful these skills could be and what they could provide so many communities like my own. Throughout it all, my goal has always been to cultivate diversity and bring a new wave of software development to an organization that is looking to make a difference in the community.
