My responsibilities included:• Managing Auckland Council contracts for Road marking & signage including annual maintenance, cyclic remarking and specialist surfacing (bauxite, synthite, slurry, Tyregrip & antiskid products).• Traffic Management Plans for specific site works on arterial roads within the city boundary• Liaising with Council Engineers in relations to modification to existing road layout, traffic calming device installation and obtaining data for existing roads.• Project managing cycle lane, school travel plans and bus & cycle lane contracts for the respective councils and programming annual maintenance on these projects.• Investigate customer queries to resolve some minor traffic, safety, parking, and local amenity.• Preparing progress claims and cost estimates.• Assisting Special Surfacing Department time to time in project managing, pricing, organizing Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Control, site scooping & marking out on site with Contractors/Engineers.• Traffic Calming devices costing & designing• Annual forecasting, budget preparation, end of month financial reporting
