Working with the Transport Maintenance Team at WCC, which has the key role of maintaining the transport functionality of Wellington City. It is a multi-discipline planning, data management, operations, engineering, and asset management group. It provides a stewardship role for all transport assets including the procurement of services related to the planning, management, operation, maintenance, refurbishment, and development of assets and facilities. The internship role includes work such as:- Customer service,- Assisting the road management engineers with on-site visits, measurements, and investigations,- Issue work to contractors,- Data management.Other company relationships include:- Wellington Electricity, North Power, and Contact Energy,- Customers, Community and Business Groups,- Local iwi/Runanga,- Other local government bodies and service authorities/companies.
