Collaborated with engineering on new product definition and launches, developed sales brochures and presentations, set worldwide pricing strategies, and hired, trained and drove sales force. Managed 13 direct reports and 14 indirect sales representatives as well as acting as lead sales person at emerging accounts, major customers and distributors. Identified new target markets and proposed product modifications. Major customers included GE Healthcare, St. Jude Medical, Trane, Johnson Controls, Ingersoll Rand, and Emerson.

Managed activities at 5 independent rep firms with sales offices in 11 locations in Western US. Handled technical and strategic details of customer account activity. Led pre-sales technical meetings with customers in territory. Products were hardware and software network security solutions and included encryption, compression and network IP packet flow classification technology.Generated $1.6M in new design wins in previously unsupported territories. Achieved first company software sale in 2 years of effort.

Turned around a damaged relationship with Iomega after the customer announced that they were disengaging, and tripled business to $80M in 3 years.
