I am a graduate of the University of California, Merced with a B.A. in Sociology and minors in Political Science and Writing Studies. As an aspiring law student, my professional journey is deeply rooted in the pursuit of social and economic justice within the structures of large institutions. My passion in advocating for marginalized communities and using the law as a tool for social change led to my experience working in the social justice sector for nonprofit organizations as a human rights and economic equity intern, UC Merced Senator At-Large, and Multicultural Center coordinator. Through extensive social justice and racial equity training, I have honed my expertise in research and data analysis, community engagement, and advocacy which allowed me to contribute to substantive policy solutions, developing thought leadership and amplifying a collective voice. Through continued education and engagement with community initiatives, I believe in the power of legal advocacy to dismantle systemic barriers. I look forward to connecting with others who share the same values and are working toward creating a more equitable legal system.
