About Daniel Hanley

I'm a software engineer specializing in frontend development. I've been building user interfaces for over five years now, and working in software for almost a decade. These days I primarily work in React and JavaScript ES6, with a number of styling frameworks including CSS and styled-components. For the past three years I've worked as a frontend engineer at Newfold Digital (formerly EIG, Ecomdash). I started on our ecommerce team working on integrations for various online storefronts. I've since moved to one of our marketing addons teams, building tools for small businesses. I've built new features for image editing, forms creation, merchandise design, and AI content generation.Previously, I worked as a QA engineer and software developer for SentryOne (formerly SQLSentry). Over five years I built and tested features for numerous products across their desktop, mobile, and web offerings. The engineering team grew from a handful of people to over 100 at the time I left. Prior to working at SQLSentry I attended Wake Forest University where I graduated with a BA in Computer Science and Political Science
