I am passionate in the world of musical arts and video game design. Sound design, Foley, Mixing, Mastering, Arranging, Composing, voice acting and playing music are all aspects of audio that I really love doing. Above all sound design is one of the most fun things I've ever done. My career in sound design started in 2019 when I joined DigiPen Institute of Technology.

Sound Design Intern

Implemented audio within in a proprietary engine integrated with Wwise. Created sound effects for visual effects, animations for in game player actions, pets, mounts, game objects, abilities, quests, quest interactions, zone interactions and best of all boss fights. My skill developments so far have been advanced workflows with reaper, reaper scripts, plugins, audio source and best of all creating magic/fantasy sounds with organic thematic texture layered with processed sound. I have had the chance to use my own foley/source and have worked with a ton of different magic types which has been eye opening for specific types of sound and my conceptual approach. One of my biggest challenges has been tuning my sound design to be more Elder Scrolls fantasy style and not lean into sci fi. I would say throughout my time so far at Zenimax I have been overcoming those challenges and learning immensely from the other sound designers from associate level to senior level.

Implemented all audio through Unreal Blueprints and Wwise events.Scored a symphonic orchestra with Sibelius to evoke the feeling of the ocean, modeling the music after Abzu specifically.Designed a music state manager that seamlessly changed between scenes and encounters such as puzzles and boss type interactions.Wrote, recorded, processed, implemented and play tested a dialogue tutorial system that guided the player through the game similar to claptrap from borderlands.Designed a procedural ambience system in Unreal that checked the distance of audio emitters to the player and then changed the ambience based on those objects.Designed an occlusion system so that the player could have auditory hints for their surroundings and to help create a more realistic auditory experience.Designed a spline audio emitter system that would activate based on player distance to the spline to optimize number of surrounding voices and technical practicality.Created a frequency band compressor in Wwise for main player mechanics of the game to create an adaptive mix across buses that included music, sound effects and UI.Created a completely custom sound for our main mechanic of the game with modular synthesis.

Mastered Proprietary tools to implement Wwise audio.Edited and mastered dialogue assets to AAA quality via Pro Tools and RX9.Organized assets via Excel so that the audio team can stay updated on incoming assets to mastered and implemented assets.Prototyped Voice Over system in game for new content in Halo.Wrote a V.O. effort script - recruited talent - recorded script - edited and mastered assets - implemented in Wwise.Note-taking during recording sessions for detailed record keeping.Crafted Pro Tools templates for future recording/editing/mastering sessions.Created sounds for ambience in a new map.Numerous bug fixes in Wwise for specific encounters VO related in game.
