Software Developer
CurrentI currently develop web-based criminal justice applications for local governments according to customer specifications in a collaborative team environment. I have researched and written code audited for compliance of FIPS 140-2 and CJIS government security standards for criminal justice systems.I often investigate new technology and create proof-of-concept solutions for the development team. My daily responsibilities include working with other developers to engineer consistent, maintainable code, mentoring junior developers, debugging legacy code, integrating to outside systems, and generally fixing the impossible. In between coding, I manage our testers to ensure a rock-solid software solution, and assign tasks and bugs to the development team. By working with the management team, we keep our developers happy and projects on-schedule both in-person and in a distributed remote environment.I'm happy to work directly with clients and welcome their user feedback in review sessions, demo presentations, and hands-on training while showcasing our development progress!
