Served as Education/Outreach Specialist, preparing and presenting information and educational programs for area school districts, businesses, tour operators, and groups. Determined need for, prepared, and presented a variety of educational materials, programs, and training sessions for use in the park, park mail, area schools, area businesses, and other special interest groups. Developed educational content to support and augment the program. Worked with colleges and universities to provide field seminar programs for educators. Employed by the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association but also worked directly with the Interpretation/Visitor Services Division at Bryce Canyon National Park.

Assisted the Education/Outreach Specialist with elementary and secondary school groups visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. Communicated, assisted, and instructed Domestic as well as Foreign park visitors ranging in age from child to senior citizen in various subject matters. Encouraged sales of interpretive materials, postcards, and posters to educate all visitors about the National Park Service Mission and the Natural History Association.

Prepared and presented written medical, criminal, and case incident reports to the district ranger. Prepared and presented required criminal incident cases to a Federal Magistrate through interviews and various investigation techniques. Responded to emergency calls including medical, law enforcement, and fire incidents. Educated park visitors of various ages and backgrounds about park resources, geology, flora, fauna, and cultural/natural history on a daily basis through visitor contacts in the park.
