Whether taking the whole class for PPA cover, supporting smaller groups of children alongside the class teacher, or working 1:1 with children needing constant aid, helping the children to cope with the challenges of everyday school-life was a mainstay of the work.As my experience grew, I took on more responsibilities such as breakfast clubs before schools, attending residential stays with the children overnight, and managing the after-school provision and school choir.
