Deepa has a rich career of over two and a half decades with an impressive track record in effectively leading large product and engineering teams. Her thought leadership, and innovation has made her known as a results oriented leader while remaining people centric. She currently serves as the India Country Head and Vice President of Engineering at Genesys. Prior to joining Genesys, Deepa lead product and engineering teams at PayPal for 13 years. She led the data warehousing teams within the central data warehouse which processes petabytes of data. She helped drive and deliver on the core data strategy. Her last role in PayPal was leading product and engineering for the Data Privacy cloud native platform.Deepa worked in the Bay Area for companies such as Deloitte, PennWell Corporation and Optimal Technologies where she gained valuable experience in consulting, analytics, engineering and market intelligence spanning across industries such as telecom, fintech and green energy. This diverse experience has helped her develop a differentiated leadership persona characterized by an outstanding ability to quickly understand the problem statement and then strategize, design, and execute a technical strategy with innovative solutions.
