In this exciting and broad role at the Museum I'm responsible for our Technology, Digital Experience, and Service Delivery teams who provide the technology infrastructure for our workplace and our workforce, bring amazing digital and audio visual experiences to our visitors, guests and communities, as well as providing and supporting the onsite and online platforms that allow our experiences and collections to reach diverse global audiences. Harnessing the best capabilities from across the department we're also responsible for the Museum's digital revolution onsite, online and beyond our walls. Bring it on!During my time at the Museum, despite the disruptions and interruptions we've all endured recently, I'm proud to have led a team that has achieved remarkable outcomes, including:• Mobilising an otherwise static workforce of ~250 people• Introducing and maintaining a robust, risk-based, cybersecurity programme• Implementing and embedding modern collaboration tools across the enterprise• The successful realisation of entirely new HRIS and Finance ERP platforms• Improving digital experience availability metrics down to single digit visitor-facing outages• Delivering an entire infrastructure refresh including a new virtualisation environment and tiered, multi-location strategic storage capabilitiesAll whilst supporting typical BAU as well as multiple special exhibitions, numerous temporary exhibitions, and the rest of Museum life! I provide digital, cloud and general ICT delivery and consulting services to various clients in New Zealand and abroad which includes working with new and established customers. In this capacity I provide strategy, pre-sales and post-sales implementation advice for technology in general with an increasing focus on cloud and digital transformation and enablement. As a member of the ICT Management Team at SKY I was responsible for the delivery of a diverse range of technology outcomes that involved programme, project, budget, schedule, and resource management.From establishing networking and IT capability at new sites through to delivering the IT required for the Rio Olympics OSB team and the establishment of our on-prem hybrid cloud capability (OpenStack) I was accountable for the management and execution of a range of high profile, schedule sensitive outcomes.During this time, and as the acting ICT Networks Manager, I was accountable for the design, build, engineering and operations staff for the SKY Technology Networks team (4 mo). Collectively we were responsible for the voice, data and IP networks of the company nationwide. This includes all LAN, WLAN, WAN, SIP and ISDN services and infrastructure.

Singularly responsible for the delivery of multimedia security solutions for online, consumer facing products for tier-one broadcasters and media companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (~€100k to €1m). Manager of 5 regional project managers responsible for the customer delivery of all Irdeto product lines (~€100k to €5m).

In Europe I was responsible for architecture and delivery management for the entire online domain including web, mobile, and e-commerce. Line management for 7 direct reports and accountable for 80 off-shore developers. Primary liaison with external suppliers for contact negotiation. Investment accountability ~€9m per annum.

Primary accountability to establish strategic partnership with Oracle (NZ) for the ongoing integration of online and transaction domains. Successfully orchestrated rigorous middleware PoC resulting in ~NZ$1m license deal.

The Senior Design Manager for a regional CRM and Billing replacement programme for multiple Vodafone operating companies. Member of the leadership team and reporting directly to the Programme Director. ~AU$450m, 330,000 man days.

Enterprise architecture activities for the Vodafone Group, representing the Pacific region, namely Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

Lead the team responsible for the architecture of our enterprise (internal) systems. Key platforms included Customer Management and Business Intelligence.

Responsible for the medium & long term technical strategy of New Zealand's largest private healthcare insurer and provider.
