I will always be a salesperson at heart, but I have had the opportunity to grow into other strategic areas that go beyond a purely sales focus. In my career, I have transitioned from and between being an individual sales contributor, a sales leader, a sales enabler, a project/program manager, and many other roles/responsibilities that don't fall neatly into any one specific category.I have been fortunate to work with many amazing colleagues and companies that have helped me learn and continue to grow my career and my professional development.I value commitment to excellence, big picture thinking without compromising the smaller details, owning mistakes and working through their solution, and asking how we can get something done versus saying it can't be done. One of my biggest professional pet peeves is when I hear "we've always done it this way" or "that won't work here." Let's think forward and work through the WHYs of both of those to understand, collaborate, and think beyond our own comfort zones and settling for mediocrity. Think bigger, challenge yourself, push others to be better, and never settle for "good enough."
