Her background includes experience in architecture, construction, urban design, and planning, with roles working in and for both the public and private sectors. Her undergraduate experience studying abroad in Italy (one year in Florence) was profound. It inspired her interest in the planning, design, and form of the built environment as influential for a socially connected community.
