Accomplishments: 1) Managing department of 30 people - Co-located, remote, hybrid teams - Each team of 7-8 people can build any product feature by itself with no or minimum dependency on other teams in the department - Teams are capable to make deicsion of bonus distribution among people in the team - Teams are capable to make decision about hiring and firing 2) Managing two key products for front office in the invenstment bank - Products - Solution for interdealer trading, fixed income products. Listed products, high frequency trading - Solution for dealer2customer trading, fixed incomde products. Complex products tailored for customer's needs - Moved a product from releases once in two month to once in two weeks. Then to on demand releases at any time. - Transparent prioritization process, reduced time to market - Tracking metrics to measure results - Fixed income remains the most profitable unit of the investment bank. 3) Agile transformation of the product group of 100 people - In the new setup the group was capable to achieve the same results with less people. 20 people were reallocated to another product. - Client/product centric approach - Designed roles and intractions, facilitated group wide decisions, organized trainings. - Played scrum master role for 3 feature-teams.
