I founded a non-profit called Dealing Hope Inc. in order to serve in Haiti. I desired to find a way to bring hope to the nation of Haiti as well as create a platform where young people could have a platform to act on their ideas that make the world a better place. So many young adults have great ideas and they just need a platform to work from. Dealing Hope also has a clothing room located in Pratt, KS called the Hope Closet.

Haiti

During my time in Haiti I was able to begin our Widow Feeding Program. The goal of this program is to bring staple foods to Haitian widows within a small community. I learned a lot of things while I was living there. The first is that poverty is so much more than lack of money. Secondly, I learned there is a vital difference between empowering and enabling. Lastly, I learned how simply acts of kindness and love can have vast implications.
