As a staff member at the Boys and Girls Club of Springfield I worked in the games room creating and implementing an engaging and educational recreational program for children ages 6 to 12. This involved supervising high needs children to ensure their growth in communicating with peers and adults. In order to do this I worked managing programs to ensure there is a safe environment for children to grow and develop. As well as supervising and enlisting the help of club volunteers to help benefit children mentally, physically, and spiritually. This was done by constructing an environment in which children of all ages are free from ridicule and open to sharing.

Hosted small events on a regular basis designed to get kids engaged with their peers and the club. These activities also served to teach a select group better social skills.
