About Allison Dodd
I am a highly energetic and passionate business transformation leader, hold on to your hats, I have a strong sense of social justice, and get crazy excited when I see other's success. With over 20 years of diverse experience across sectors including sport, health, education, and manufacturing, I believe taking people on a journey is like a game of test cricket, it’s a game of strategy, a game of skill, and a time when teammates must have each other’s backs. My leadership style is a beautiful marriage of kindness, compassion, and empathy (not surprising considering I started my career as a pediatric nurse) and I am able to sniff out a business opportunity and make it a commercial reality from a mile away. Just like the famous line “I see dead people” I “see the bigger strategic picture”, my creative mind helps me to see gaps and opportunities that others don’t. Whilst I choose not to wear my cape in public, my superpower lies in the art of connection and the power of collaboration. I am courageous (although may not run into a burning building!) I will have the conversations others won’t, I will look a challenge in the eye and take it on, I will ask the hard questions. I really do dare to push the envelope and challenge those around me to be better, to do better. Things I’m good at:• Building awesome teams who care• Thinking about and understanding the commercial realities of business decisions• Asking the “dumb” questions• Conceptualisation• Making espresso martini'sThings I’m not good at:• Being fake• Staying away from the lolly jar• Breaking a commitment• Tolerating bad behavior and performance• Backyard cricket! So, if you're looking for someone who's fuelled by the energy of human connection, who thrives on the dynamic interplay of ideas and personalities, and who's dedicated to driving meaningful change, then look no further. Because for me, people aren't just participants in the game – they are the game.
Listed skills include Leadership, Leadership Development, Change Management, Training Delivery, and 40 others.
