Ground up development of IT department for $500 million hotel/condominium resort management company with 35+ properties on all major Hawaiian Islands and in Malaysia. Decision maker for all computer systems purchases at corporate offices, hotels, and condominium properties. Supervised full-time staff of 12 plus many many part-time and freelance workers. Primary liaison with key vendor personnel in all automation planning projects. Monitored internal quality assurance standards with contracted technical service organizations/vendors.Managed IT team in WAN implementation linking all properties on four Hawaiian Islands with ASTON's mainland central reservations in Dallas, Texas and real time interface with property systems at resorts and accounting deparment at ASTON's corporate offices.. Implemented first e-mail and web access systems for 300+ users,  Assisted in development of Internet web pages with reservations engine for on-line guest booking.Developed and assisted in drafting and implementing e-policies and procedures to establish employee computer use standards.Selected as one of 100 Top Technology Leaders in the State of Hawaii and Speaker at 2001 National Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference.
