As the Patient Engagement Manager, I provide leadership to Patient Engagement Specialists and support patients in their recovery journey. My responsibilities include conducting fitness classes, delivering educational lectures, monitoring patients, resolving conflicts, and collaborating with clinical staff. Key duties include team supervision, progress tracking, scheduling, documentation, and community engagement. I also facilitate community meetings, ensuring policy adherence and assisting in team recruitment and onboarding. As a Patient Advocate I establish relationships with community resources to insure patients leaving recovery maintain stability.

As a Family Advocate, I offered counseling and social service referrals to students and families in need. Collaborating with school support staff, I determined the best service outcomes and connected with community and social service organizations to obtain necessary resources and assistance. I established relationships with local businesses, securing donations, and coordinated workshops and events to support students and families. Established a relationship between Bank of America and Mason Run High School. Coordinated workshops for students inviting professionals from the community to speak to kids about careers and community resources.

Completed 12 weeks of trainings on the Ohio Integrated Eligibility System and CRIS-E in order to effectively determine eligibility of Medical and Food Assistance. Interview customers face-to-face and via telephone to guide them through the application process exploring personal, financial and employment information to determine eligibility for assistance. I also facilitate routine discussions with clients regarding budgeting and prioritizing personal spending towards increasing independents. • Training other Staff in Therapeutic Assault Prevention. This training gives Social Workers and other Clinicians who serve the mentally ill population the legal tools to deescalate volatile situations and defend against being assaulted. • Facilitate a weekly Men’s Group concentrating on overcoming barriers of effective interaction and rehabilitation to the environment.
