Experience included Clerk Typist, UH-1H Huey helicopter Crew Chief/Door Gunner, Explosive Ordnance Disposal NCO, Field Artillery Fire Direction NCO, Fire Support Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Sergeant Major. Special assignments included Noncommissioned Officers Academy Primary NCO Course (PNCOC/PLDC) Assistant Chief Instructor where I co-wrote the program of instruction for the Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC); Field Artillery Reserve Component Trainer/Advisor; University ROTC Battalion Sergeant Major; and School of Cadet Command (ROTC) (2 Star Command) Sergeant Major. Was promoted to the two highest enlisted ranks ahead of my peers, achieving promotion to Sergeant Major with 18 years of service.
