Responsible for supporting and coordinating all aspects of field construction project activities for multiple cell sites in support of Network Vision and other construction project within the assigned market. Responsibilities include: directing and providing technical guidance to outside engineering firms, contractors, and vendors; and coordinating utilities, access, and inspections. The Construction Manager II daily tasks include generation /review of completed bid packages, coordination of site visits with engineers and contractors, generation /review of project schedules, reporting, site audits, on- site construction management of subcontractors and other duties as assigned.

Accountable for managing site development teams and activities across an assigned market. Responsible for new cell site acquisition, new site construction, site modifications, quality audits and reporting, regulatory approvals, MLA contracts, relocation's, COWS, and landlord issues. Works cross-functionally as required to coordinate network planning, engineering, and performance activities. Interacts with internal groups and external vendors to assure the successful build out of the Sprint Network. Accountable for cell site capital and rent budget management and control.

Primary responsibility to maintain, upgrade, repair, test and monitor 100+ Huawei BTS sites throughout the Chicago area. Managed 1180 BTS sites in an 11k square mile area to ensure market goals of 99.95 availability minutes were met.Monitored and responded to BTS alarms to a matrix standard of .01%.Responsible for the accountability of $3.8 million equipment at 100%.Managed special projects totaling $1.7 million annually. Trained and mentored team members in all aspects of wireless communication equipment and theory.Additionally, responsible for writing the Cricket Communications “Field Tech Certification Course” on articles of “Power”, “HVAC”, and “Huawei Integration and Maintenance”.Responsible for building processes within a 3 department, 27 person field team for better efficiency and communication for a “1 Team Concept”.
