Dry End Utility 2· Perform equipment Lockout/Tag-Out procedures during machine shutdowns. Troubleshoot all machine electrical and mechanical equipment alarms and malfunctions when necessary.· Conduct daily machine, motor, and associated equipment inspections for records.· Liaison with Maintenance personnel for support on any machine components needing extensive, higher-level, repairs to maintain production.· Fine tune, adjust and calibrate slitter bands and blades for product cut quality and customer specifications.· Conduct product quality inspections on all paper products produced prior to wrapping for shipment.Dry End Utility 1· Operate the overhead crane, Dryer, Reel, Reel Pulper, Size Press and Size Press Pulper sections and equipment on machine line.· Take samples from all paper products produced for lab and quality testing before further processing.· Assist Paper Machine Wet End Operator with monitoring all machine parameters and conducting quality checks.· Participate in routine cleaning and machine maintenance activities to keep the Paper Machines in good working condition.· Ensure all safety guards and devices are in place and functional during Paper Machine shutdowns, startups, and operation.
