Don Ramsay started the firm's e-discovery practices in 2005, after more than 20 years of experience handling a broad range of business, employment and personal injury litigation. He has since focused on e-discovery for business litigation and investigations. He represents clients and advises other attorneys in their planning for e-discovery discovery pleadings, implementing legal holds, collecting electronic documents, production formats, discovery protocols, privilege logs, and discovery motion practice. He evaluates clients' information system issues for e-discovery purposes. He has prepared and presented his client's IT personnel for deposition on disputed e-discovery matters. Don has also managed numerous large document reviews.Don is currently working as a member of the The Sedona Conference drafting team creating principles to guide practitioners in decisions about what constitutes defensible e-discovery processes. He has taught national e-discovery certification courses and presented a national podcasts relating to document review. Most recently, Don lead the e-discovery processes for a multi-national investigation with document collection, review and productions for several federal agencies.
