Lead a team of 20 associates in each of the company directives: Clean Store, In Stock and Great Customer Service. I focused the team on building the average ticket and the conversion of each customer. Notable achievements: Consistently in the top 3 of the district in sales volume. Promoted numerous associates, including 3 to Store Managers and 5 to Assistant Store Managers. Was recruiting captain for the district, as appointed by the District Manager. Increased the store from the top 10 to top 5 in the district based on the Company Score Card, which rates how effective the store produces to company standards. Worked closely with the DM on a special task force named “Leave No Store Behind.” Reduced shrink each year from a 1.40% in 2009 to a .45% in 2015 with tighter inventory controls including more counts and better organization of the product.

Managed a $34 million food service warehouse with 50+ employees. My main focus was to drive sales and profit through great customer service, tight inventory control and monitoring controllable expenses. Worked on a special task force to help set up new branches throughout the company.

Oversaw 12 district stores in the absence of a District Manager for 6 months. Other notable achievements: *Achieved top sales volume in the district 3 years running from 1995 – 1997. *Received quarterly bonus each quarter from July ’94 – June ‘97.
