Leadership- Provides Input into performance evaluations of Technical Systems Administrators- Trains new and existing systems administrators in system and operational tasks in order to maximize effectiveness and utilizationof systems.- Proposes and implements creative solutions to operational and infrastructure issues with follow-through to resolution.Independent worker with ability to exercise discretion and make decisions based on distinct issues.- Manages end-user support by directly supervising the service-related activities of all Technical Systems Administrators.Network administration- Participates with technology partners to help define organizational technology improvement needs.- Collaborates with stakeholders to design hardware, storage, and software configurations ensuring efficient performance.- Authors training materials and trains staff on systems administration techniques.System performance- Provides the highest-level of troubleshooting ensuring system performance meets or exceeds acceptable thresholds.- Reviews and authorizes all production configuration changes.- Performs regular reviews of system performance to ensure service level agreements are satisfied.- Applies creative efforts to resolve problem using best judgment and discretion.System security- Participate on the CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) when requested by management.- Provides second-level troubleshooting to peers.- Monitors and identifies system integrity issues.- Engages with system administrators, database administrators, system programmers, application leads, and vendors to correctdata integrity issues.
