Responsibilities:• Member of Vice-Provost’s management team. Direct and manage the central university-wide faculty support center for online, blended (hybrid), and technology enhanced face-to-face classes. eLearning Center annual budget: $1.7 million.• Provide leadership in collaboration with Deans, Chairs, and Program Directors for strategic guidance to the Provost to ensure eLearning is meeting the needs of the stakeholders.• Maintain and foster collaborative environment for faculty to implement effective use of technology.• Strategic planning for excellent support and service for faculty, university-wide and for all programs and all delivery modes.

Develop and manage Technology Center budget.• Primary activities in the center were CAD/CAM, multimedia, network management, and network based instructional tools.Computer Consulting:• Design, implement and support mobile wireless classroom with Linux server and laptop clients for applications training and BackOffice laptop training lab.• Design and write Lotus Notes application for online curriculum management and development tools for college catalog and curriculum office.• Support network based interactive English classroom.• Assist implementation of WEB based online courses and resources for Biology Labs, Art History, Astronomy, Spanish, and Nursing.• Authored multimedia segments for Politics, Sociology, Nursing, and Art History. Tools used include Lotus Notes, Learning Space, HTML, Access, and Authorware.
