About Donna Nolan

I am a born again Christian and faith plays a strong role in my life. I see myself as having a servants heart. I have raised 3 wonderful children and have been a foster parent for many. I have taught school, executive director of parenting classes for 5 years, vice president and part owner of New Hope Counseling for 2 years. I am certified in teaching several parenting classes as well as "Children in the Middle" classes for divorcing parents. Assist every year for the last 10 years with the area adoption picnic which opens the door for those children who are needing a home. I am also a member of "The Call" which works with area churches to locate mentor's, host homes, foster homes, and adoptive homes. 2002-2004 I was a member of the Disaster Relief for the NW Arkansas Baptist Association. I was able to go to China for a summer and work with assisting the people of China with language skills and often visited the children in area hospitals and/or orphan homes where I read and help feed and take care of the children.I have also been blessed for many years with the honor of "ringing that bell" . Also have been on the search and rescue team for Back Country Horseman on the Buffalo River region as well as an ambassador for the Buffalo River. My philosophy has been and is this; Everyone is important to someone, everyone wants to be loved, everyone wants to feel special and everyone wants to be chosen. Strong leadership should revolve around these simple facts. Respect, honesty, and an ability to lead and teach with a kind spirit. Making the right decisions comes from seeing the whole picture not just a part of the picture. Working with others and assisting in the well being of others is a calling, an honor, and a privilege not to be taken for granted. This philosophy is important with any position one has.Love God...Love People..
