Responsible for all of Backcountry’s Utah Recruiting, roughly 450 annual hires.• Shifted internal recruiting focus toward a more “agency” style that focuses on sourcing passive candidates and attracting top talent through our employer brand. • Improved employer brand by launching a profile with The Muse, shifting focus of LinkedIn to corporate life content, and improving our Glassdoor image. Increased applicants directly to our job site by 14% in 2017 YTD. • Optimized our Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite) to utilize it for requisition approvals, offer approvals, generating and extending offers, and onboarding. This eliminated the need of 3 other systems, streamlined the hiring process for the entire HR team, and set up controls that ensured recruiting was aligned with the business.• Created and implemented Recruiting Checklist for Hiring Managers to support managers throughout the entire recruiting process. This is an easily digestible checklist for managers to follow that breaks down the recruiting process. • Produced and integrated a Hiring Manager Questionnaire and Interview Loop Assignment template for managers to complete before the Recruiting Kick Off. This allows the manager and recruiter to collaborate in a more effective way by setting expectations up front. It also allows us to share these expectations with everybody involved in the interview process.• Created Recruit, Interview, Hire training for all employees. Lead frequent company-wide trainings for managers and interviewers to explain the entire recruiting process, use our applicant tracking system effectively, and help prevent bias and select the best candidate.• Responsible for maintaining the corporate recruiting intranet site. • Work closely with executive leadership to fill senior leadership level positions and confidential searches• Typically maintain active requisition load of 15+ corporate roles.
