This helped us change the mindset of all parties to lead with cloud calling and totally shift the go to market strategy in his territories.

Donovan was able to take a territory that had historically struggled and not only brought it to success, but consistency.  I was regularly tapping him on the shoulder to help build our best practices for my team, as well as projects that ended up being launched with our global collab small and midsize teams.  Despite taking on extra projects to drive the teams success, he never lost sight of his own #’s.  So much so, that he made Sales Champion during a time that collab SMB had extremely low bookings but the USPS team was hitting over 160% (Talk about setting a high bar!).

Another point, and one I would consider the most beneficial, I want to bring up is the massive value he drove for our culture.  Donovan helped organize Give Back Days for the local RTP folks.  He helped show some of the newer members how to turn a difficult situation into a positive one. One great example is when there were some concerns with the team around our forecasting processes. Donovan came to me and while keeping feedback anonymous helped bring multiple teams together to find a positive resolution for all, and those ideas ended up improving team moral and increased our forecasting accuracy significantly.
