As the Senior Ammunition Technician, I hold a pivotal role in course management and course preparation for the Warrant Officer Basic and Advance Course at the Technical Logistics College, Army Sustainment University. My responsibilities span from teaching initial and advanced ammunition management and logistical support for the Military Occupational Specialty (890A) Ammunition Technician across all three Army components (Reserve, National Guard, and Active Duty). My contributions included creating cost reports, logistical analysis, and performance metrics, which significantly improved overall organizational efficiency in munition management and distribution. I was responsible for managing, supervising, training, and mentoring a team of eight soldiers.

As the Ammunition Technical Advisor for the Logistics Research and Engineer Directorate (LRED) for two years, I provided operational, strategic, and tactical level experiences in ammunition logistics, fundamentals, functionality, and explosive safety operations. Out of a pool of six eligible Warrant Officers in my field of ammunition expertise, I was selected for a unique opportunity assigned with the Training with Industry (TWI) Program working with Orbital ATK in Independence, Missouri. This program allowed me to work at the only Government Owned/Contract Operated (GO/CO) small caliber production facility in the country. As a military service member, I spent 12 months working side-by-side with the small caliber production team for U.S.- based munitions. My areas of involvement included management and production planning, fabrication and production, ammunition LOT acceptance and testing, and NATO certification and testing, and Engineer analysis tests.

Baumholder, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany

As the Sustainment Brigade Ammunition Officer, I managed over $4.2 million of training, operational load, and combat load munitions for three Battalions and two Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units. I provided munitions support and logistical support to organizations throughout the European Command (EUCOM), African Command (AFRICOM), and Central Command (CENTCOM) areas of operation. I managed, supervised, trained, and mentored 13 soldiers.

I was the Accountable Officer for two forward-deployed retail Ammunition Supply Points (ASP) in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Accountable Officer for the Fort Carson, Co. ASP worth over $180 million combined. I was responsible for the training, development, leadership, and deployment readiness of 55 soldiers. We distributed ammunition and provided logistical support to NATO forces and Joint Military forces (Navy, Marines, and Special Operations). We completed over 850 shipping directives in and out of the theatre. I retrograded over 1500 short tons of ammunition to support troop drawdown efforts. My team processed and brought to record over $2.5 million of lost and unaccounted-for munitions resulting from closures of forward operating bases in Afghanistan.
